香港民主女神團隊對今天早上西灣河發生的槍撀傷人事情感到震驚及憤慨。在此我們對兩位傷者及其家人送上衷心慰問。
另外，各區也持續出現不同的示威及警民衝突。我們亦在此向各區的抗爭者的勇氣、堅持表示致意。希望受傷的手足們早日康復，被補的手足平安回家。
團隊除了關注示威者的安全以外，亦對警隊的精神健康狀態感到憂慮。在今天各區的新聞片段中，手握致命武器的執法人員的精神及情緒狀態都瀕臨失控邊緣。執法人員情緒狀態不穩的情況下執勤，對市民、示威者、或同袍造成危險。團隊亦對特首林鄭月娥女士於較早前記者會上作出她不認為警察失控的陳述感到不滿、不安、及憤怒。
警方人員作執行職務時表現不專業並非今天發生的個別事件，在過去多月來亦在媒體上可見，由最早期「唔好攪我後面」觸感幻覺、「香蕉糖約隻揪」事件、及到最近有警方人員於市民悼念科大周同學離世的集會上作出「我哋今晚開香檳」等言論等事故中可見一斑。綜觀過去多月的抗爭場合，往往都是警方的不恰當執法，為市民造成不便、製造更多亂局。我們強烈讉責此等不專業、不恰當、不人性的執法者行為，亦強烈要求特區政府及相關部份正視前線員工的精神健康問題。
最後，香港民主女神團隊重申，我們會與其他抗爭者一樣，不會向殘暴、濫權的當權者屈服，我們一直讓會以堅定不移的決心與抗爭路上不同戰線的同路人齊上齊落，和勇不分。
The Lady Liberty HK Team would like to send our warmest regards to the casualties of the Sai Wan Ho Gunshot incident earlier today. We also want to pay tribute to the resilience, persistent of the protesterse all over Hong Kong today.
More importantly, we’d like to express our grave concern regarding the mental health of frontline police officers. Today’s ruthess shootings at Sai Wan Ho, and other provoking languages used against the protetors in the past few months are just tip of the iceberg of mental health issues. Armed frontline offiers with impaired psychological state posit great danger to the citizens, protestoers, and fellow police officers.
We strongly demand the Government and the Hong Kong Police Force to take necessary actions to preserve frontline offciers’ mental health.
The Lady Liberty Team HK would not give in to any kind of violence; and we will stride through the difficult time with fellow HK citizens with determination, faith and pride.
